Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide basic nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with senior nurses and healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
Clinical Support:
Assist in medical procedures and examinations under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
Perform routine clinical tasks such as wound care, IV line insertion, and sample collection.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments and care plans.
Report changes in patient conditions promptly to the supervising medical staff.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to Klinikum Hanau’s policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Education: A recognized nursing degree.
Licensing: Valid nursing license in Germany (or eligibility to obtain one).
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German (B2 or C1 level).
Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and high attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Shifts: Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
