Job Description:

Krankenhaus GmbH Landkreis Weilheim-Schongau is seeking a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. The selected candidate will play a key role in providing therapeutic interventions to patients with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial challenges, aiming to improve their functional independence and quality of life. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities, limitations, and needs.
  
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  
• Provide a range of occupational therapy interventions, including activities of daily living (ADL) training, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, sensory integration, cognitive rehabilitation, and the provision of adaptive equipment.
  
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, family members, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  
• Adhere to all relevant professional standards, ethical guidelines, and safety regulations.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  
• A patient-centered and empathetic approach to care.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  
• Valid certification/license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in occupational therapy is desirable.
  
• German language proficiency at B2 level upon arrival.
  
• A valid driving license.
  
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients  and colleagues.
