Staff Nurse

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   

   • Provide basic nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
     
   • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with senior nurses and healthcare professionals.
     
   • Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
     

2. Clinical Support:
   

   • Assist in medical procedures and examinations under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
     
   • Perform routine clinical tasks such as wound care, IV line insertion, and sample collection.
     
   • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
     

3. Communication:
   

   • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
     
   • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments and care plans.
     
   • Report changes in patient conditions promptly to the supervising medical staff.
     

4. Collaboration:
   

   • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
     
   • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
     

5. Compliance and Safety:
   

   • Adhere to Klinikum Hanau’s policies, procedures, and protocols.
     
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
     
   • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
     

Qualifications:

• Education: A recognized nursing degree.
  
• Licensing: Valid nursing license in Germany (or eligibility to obtain one).
  
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German (B2 or C1 level).
  
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and high attention to detail.
