Program
Planning and Implementation
|
- Daily
monitoring of providers’ schedules and no-shows to facilitate patient access
and walk-ins.
- Addresses
downward trends in patient visits by review/analysis of patient process (es).
- Directs,
supervises, and coordinates activities of the clinic including systems,
accounting, materials management, human resources, data processing, and
maintenance.
- Participates
in the development and implementation of long term plans and budgets.
- Recommends
changes based on knowledge of policies, costs, and operating procedures.

Organizing
|
- Recommends
facility improvements including construction, renovation, and purchase of equipment.
- Resolves
problems related to staffing, utilization of facility, equipment, and
supplies.
- Promotes
utilization of the clinic by marketing services via public/community
activities.
- Provides
timely and detailed communications on clinic activities, accomplishments,
corrective action plans,
and outcomes.

Budgeting
|
- Monitors
monthly A/R reports and collections to reinforce goals.
- Monitors and
controls clinic expenditures within budget.
|
Supervision
|
- Trains/orients
staff at the department level. Responsible for daily work assignments,
productive performance
and efficient operations.
- Participates
in personnel functions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance
appraisals, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.
- Ensures
distribution, education, and implementation of business policies, personnel
policies, and QI manual.
- Measures
daily performance and outcomes, provides timely individual feedback and
continues to monitor.
- Conducts
daily huddles to promote communication, problem resolution, and workflow
planning.
- Intervene and
problem solves for inter-/intra-departmental issues. Facilitate
interdepartmental
communication,
negotiation and decision-making.

Performance
Improvement, Accreditation and Compliance
|
- Understands
and monitors clinic processes specific to positive outcomes in all areas of
MOH, JCI Accreditation and Quality Compliance Plan etc. Implements immediate
plan of corrective action(s) as needed.
- Conducts
management audits in close collaboration with the QRC, to evaluate and
correct as needed for potential improvement and reports results to the Branch
Medical Director and the COO.
- Works closely
with the Lab Director regarding daily operations and opportunities for
problem resolution.

General
Administration
|
- Maintains
professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep pace
with the trends in health care administration.
- Represents
clinic at public and professional meetings.
- Maintains
liaison with all levels of administration, QRC, physicians, physician
assistants, and external agencies to enhance business practices.
- Investigate
patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action.
- Other duties
may be assigned.
