Job Summary

abeer KSA is looking for an OBGYN specialist to provide expert medical care to women across all stages of life, including pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health. This role demands a compassionate approach, high-level clinical expertise, and a dedication to improving women’s health.

Job Overview

Patient Care	Diagnose and treat disorders covering the entire spectrum women's health. Manage prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care for pregnant patients. Provide care for high-risk pregnancies and labor complications. Conduct regular screenings, such as pap smears and mammograms etc.
Procedures and Surgeries	Perform routine gynecological procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and D&Cs. Deliver babies through natural birth or cesarean sections as necessary. Handle emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies or uterine ruptures.
Preventative and Educational Care	Educate patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health. Counsel patients on lifestyle changes for better gynecological and obstetric health.
Collaboration	Work closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions for high-risk patients.
Documentation and Compliance	Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history, diagnoses, and treatments. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and local medical regulations.
Research and Professional Development	Stay updated on advancements in OBGYN practices and technologies. Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and hospital training programs.

Requirements

Education

MBBS
MS or DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Experience

2 years of experience post MS/DNB, preferably in a hospital setting.
Demonstrable expertise and proficiency in overseeing pregnancy care, performing gynecological surgeries, and managing reproductive health issues.

Skills & Competencies

In-depth knowledge of female reproductive health, pregnancy management, and surgical procedures.
Excellent communication and counseling skills to address patient concerns empathetically.
Ability to handle high-stress situations, especially during labor and delivery.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
