Job Summary

The Consultant in Orthopaedics will play a crucial role in delivering specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders, focusing on arthroscopic surgeries. This role includes managing a diverse case load, conducting thorough evaluations, and providing treatment for various orthopaedic conditions. The consultant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other departments to ensure the highest quality of patient care and successful outcomes.

Job Overview

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Perform arthroscopic surgeries and other minimally invasive procedures.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex orthopaedic needs.
  • Consult with and refer patients to other specialists as necessary.
  • Provide patient education and ensure post-surgery rehabilitation support.
  • Contribute to team meetings and discuss patient cases with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the orthopaedic department.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and orthopaedic residents.


    • Requirements

  • Qualifications: MS or DNB in Orthopaedics.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a government institution, teaching hospital, or private hospital with a DNB training program.
  • Expertise: Advanced skills in arthroscopic surgeries.
  • Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 QAR gross monthly.
