Abeer KSA is seeking a skilled Surgeon to join our surgical care team. As a General Surgeon, you’ll be an integral part of our surgical practice, responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients of all ages.

Job Overview

Category	Responsibilities
Patient Care	Thoroughly evaluating patients, ordering and interpreting investigations, and formulating diagnoses. Counseling patients on treatment options, including surgical risks and benefits. Obtaining informed consent and ensuring patient understanding. Providing compassionate and supportive care throughout the patient journey.
Surgical Expertise	Performing a wide range of surgical procedures, encompassing areas like the abdomen, digestive system, breasts, skin, and soft tissues. Expertise in minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy) is increasingly important. Managing pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care. Handling surgical emergencies effectively.
Hospital Duties	Conducting ward rounds, assessing inpatients, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 surgical coverage. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient management. Maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to documentation standards. Involvement in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and policy development.
Professional Development	Staying abreast of the latest surgical advancements and techniques through continuous learning. Potentially participating in research and academic activities. Adhering to the highest ethical standards and professional conduct.
Professional Development	Stay updated on the latest technologies, surgical techniques, and treatments in ophthalmology. Attend conferences and workshops to maintain expertise and meet the SCFHS requirements for continuous professional development.
Administrative Duties	Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and surgical outcomes. Adhere to the ethical guidelines and legal requirements set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and SCFHS. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in the healthcare institution.

Requirements

Education

Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from a recognized Medical College in India

Experience

2 years of work experience as a surgeon after post graduation.
