Job Summary

Abeer KSA is seeking a skilled paediatrician to join our medical care team. As a paediatrician, you’ll be an integral part of our medical practice, contributing to the care, diagnosis, and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents.

Job Overview

Category	Responsibilities
Patient Care	Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, from common illnesses (e.g., infections) to chronic diseases (e.g., asthma, diabetes). Manage acute and emergency situations, such as respiratory distress, seizures, and severe infections.
Preventive Care	Administer routine vaccinations as per the national immunization schedule. Provide guidance on nutrition, growth, and developmental milestones. Educate parents and caregivers on preventive health measures, including hygiene and safety.
Specialized Care	Address complex pediatric cases that require specialized knowledge, such as congenital disorders, genetic conditions, or rare diseases. Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists (e.g., pediatric cardiologists, neurologists) for comprehensive care.
Health Education	Educate families about child health, developmental concerns, and proper care practices. Offer support and counseling to parents dealing with challenging diagnoses or developmental delays.
Collaboration	Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, and social workers. Refer patients to appropriate specialists or facilities when advanced care is required.
Community and Public Health	Participate in public health initiatives, such as campaigns promoting childhood vaccination or disease prevention. Contribute to health education programs in schools or community centers.
Professional Development	Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs. Engage in research or quality improvement projects to enhance pediatric healthcare practices in Saudi Arabia.
Administrative Duties	Maintain detailed medical records and documentation for each patient. Adhere to the policies and regulations set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and healthcare institutions.

Requirements

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics from a recognized Medical College in India

Experience

2 years of work experience in paediatrics after post graduation.

Skills & Competencies

Demonstrable expertise and proficiency in handling acute paediatrics cases in the ER as well as in the wards.
Expertise in conducting Diagnostic and Monitoring Procedures like blood sampling, Lumbar Punctures and Growth monitoring.
Experience in handling respiratory procedures like Airway Management, Nebulizer Therapy etc.
Good communication skills to educate patients and parents about ailments and management.
