- Ensuring postoperative care and monitoring to prevent

Treatment Planning and Management

- Developing customized treatment plans for patients, including
non-surgical interventions.
- Administering therapies such as injections or recommending
physical therapy.
- Managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Consultation and Collaboration
|
- Working with a multidisciplinary team, including physical
therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and radiologists.
- Consulting with general practitioners and other specialists for
complex cases.

Patient Education and Support
|
- Educating patients and their
families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Offering guidance on lifestyle
changes and preventive measures to improve outcomes.

Professional Development
|
- Stay updated on the latest
technologies, surgical techniques, and treatments in ophthalmology.
- Attend conferences and workshops
to maintain expertise and meet the SCFHS requirements for continuous
professional development.
|
Administrative Duties
|
- Maintain accurate medical records,
including patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and surgical outcomes.
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines
and legal requirements set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and SCFHS.
- Contribute to quality improvement
initiatives in the healthcare institution.
