Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis
|
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and physical examinations
focused on ENT symptoms.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as audiograms, endoscopy, CT scans, and
MRIs.
- Diagnose a wide range of ENT-related diseases and disorders.
|
Treatment & Procedure Management
|
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medical,
surgical, and non-surgical options.
- Perform outpatient procedures such as ear suctioning, nasal cautery, and
foreign body removal.
- Assist in or perform surgeries involving tonsils, sinuses, adenoids, and
other ENT areas.

Emergency ENT Care
|
- Manage acute ENT emergencies such as epistaxis, airway
obstruction, or sudden hearing loss.
- Collaborate with emergency and critical care teams in urgent scenarios.
- Ensure timely intervention and stabilization of emergency cases.

Patient Education & Follow-Up
|
- Provide patients and families with clear explanations of
conditions and treatment plans.
- Educate on post-operative care, medication adherence, and preventive
measures.
- Conduct regular follow-up to assess outcomes and manage chronic conditions.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration
|
- Work with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, and
other specialists as needed.
- Participate in case discussions and collaborative management for complex
conditions.
- Refer patients appropriately for further specialty care.

Clinical Documentation
|
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure documentation meets QCHP and hospital standards.
- Prepare discharge summaries, referral letters, and operative notes.
|
Training & Development
|
- Mentor junior doctors, interns, and medical students.
- Participate in in-house training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay updated with advancements in ENT through CME and workshops.
|
Quality & Compliance
| - Adhere to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Contribute to internal audits and clinical governance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ethical practice.
